"Unexpected error occurred" error message

If you're seeing an "Unexpected error" when trying to activate FSX 2020 or FSX Play, here are the steps to resolve it:
1. Update FSX 2020/Play
Make sure you're using the latest version: https://support.foresightsports.com/support/software
2. Check Internet Connection
Ensure the new PC is connected to the internet - activation will fail without it.
3. Deactivate the License
Log into your FSX Live account: https://fsxlive.foresightsports.com/
Go to: My Account > Licenses > DEACTIVATE
Then re-launch FSX and enter your username, password, and activation code. It might auto-log you into the main menu - please restart the software until it prompts you to enter your login details and activation code again.
