How to Activate and Manage Your FSX Course Licenses

Foresight Sports software courses are digital licenses tied to an FSX Live account. This article explains how courses are purchased, activated, deactivated, and why they cannot be transferred to another account.

How to Purchase Courses  

  • Through a Sales Representative

    • Once your order is paid, our fulfilment team will manually assign the purchased courses to the FSX Live account you provide.

    • You’ll receive a fulfilment email with confirmation and download instructions.

  • Through the Foresight Sports Online Shop

    • Visit the FSX Courses Shop.

    • After purchase, a one-time activation code will be emailed to the purchaser.

    • This code is redeemed in FSX Play or FSX 2020 and ties the course license to your FSX Live account.

Course Activation in FSX Play vs FSX 2020  

  • FSX Play

    • Has a built-in Download Manager.

    • Once logged into your FSX Live account, enter an activation code or allow courses assigned by fulfillment to sync.

    • You’ll see a notification that new courses are available to download and install.

    • Updates are also delivered directly through the Download Manager.

  • FSX 2020

    • Requires manual download of courses.

    • Download from either your fulfilment email or the FSX 2020 Support Page.

    • Courses must then be manually installed on your PC.

    • Updates are also manual via the support page.

⚠️ Note: Foresight Sports stopped producing new FSX 2020 courses after 2022/2023. Some courses are ONLY available in FSX Play, and some courses are ONLY available in FSX 2020

Subscription Requirements for Courses  

  • For subscription-based devices (GC3s, Launch Pro, LPi), an active Gold Subscription is required to access courses.

  • Even if courses are assigned to your FSX Live account, they cannot be used unless the subscription is active and paid.

  • If your subscription expires:

    • Your courses remain tied to your FSX Live account.

    • They will become playable again once your subscription is renewed.

Course License Management (Deactivation & Reuse)  

    • Deactivate a course license (e.g., moving to a new PC or troubleshooting a validation error).

    • Once deactivated, the course can be re-activated in FSX Play or FSX 2020 without a new activation code.

  • This is useful if:

    • You’re upgrading or replacing a PC.

    • A course validation fails in the software and needs to be reset.

Software Licenses (FSX Play & FSX 2020)  

  • FSX Play or FSX 2020 licenses are also tied to your FSX Live account.

  • An activation code can only be used once, but licenses can be deactivated the same way as courses (via the Licenses tab in your FSX Live account).

  • This allows you to reinstall the software on a new PC if you upgrade or replace your machine.

Our Support Limitations  

  • Courses and software are non-transferable by customers. They are tied to the FSX Live account used for activation.

  • If you need to transfer the ownership of your Foresight Product, please refer to our "Transfer of Ownership" guide.

When to Contact Support  

Contact our Support Team if:

  • A purchased course does not appear in your software after following the activation steps.

  • A course or software license fails validation even after deactivation/reactivation in your FSX Live account.

  • You need confirmation that a course purchase was properly applied to your account.

Please include:

  • Your FSX Live account email

  • The course name in question

  • A copy of your purchase confirmation or activation code

FAQ  

Can I use the same course on multiple PCs?
Not unless you purchase multiple quantities of that course. Entertainment/retail facilities often do this for multi-bay setups.

Can I move my courses to a new PC?
Yes. Log into your FSX Live account, deactivate your courses, and then reactivate them on the new PC.

Why did my course disappear after reinstalling my PC?
You may need to log into your FSX Live account and deactivate/reactivate the course.

Can I transfer my courses if I sell my device?
No. Courses are tied to your FSX Live account, not to a device, and cannot be transferred.
