Optimizing Windows Graphic Settings for FSX Play -FSX Play lagging

The items below are to be performed in addition to the basic graphics card setup provided to you with your software installation guide: Link > Basic Video Card Setup Guide

Using this article/guide will assist you in enabling it for Windows 10/11.
1. Right-click on your desktop and select Display Settings
2. Scroll to and select to open Graphic Settings
3. Enable Hardware-accelerated GPU Scheduling
4. Now, below this, ensure Desktop app is selected under Choose an app to set preference and then click Browse
5. Find the FSX Play.exe file in the installation directory and click Add
6. Click on the new listing for FSX Play.exe and select Options
7. Select High performance out of the options and select Save
Enabling the above may assist in frame rate issues and or latency experienced in FSX Play.

Additional Tips to resolve lagging/jittery performance:
- Make sure that your Windows Display resolution is set according to your monitor/projector's default. (Do not select a 4K resolution like
3840 × 2400 if your monitors and projector cannot handle this. Select a lower option i.e. 1920 × 1200 to see if it improves the performance.)
- Select the appropriate Graphics settings in FSX Play (If you have a full-HD monitor and projector, do not select HIGH or ULTRA, set it to MEDIUM - this will not affect the quality, it will just use the correct power that suits your setup's resolution rate)
- If you are using the Displays in DUPLICATED mode in Windows, make sure you select the lowest available resolution for your monitors. (If you have a 4K projector but a Full-HD monitor, select 1920x1080. To be able to run FSX Play in 4K, you need all connected monitors to run 4K. Windows will always default to the lowest available resolution.)
