How to Register and Validate Your Device (GCQuad, QuadMAX, GC3, GC3s)

How to Register and Validate Your Device (GCQuad, QuadMAX, GC3, GC3s)

What Happens if Validation Expires

If your device goes past 45 days without validating:

  • Wireless connectivity to software (WiFi / Bluetooth) will be disabled

  • Club data will be limited to 1-dot mode only

  • Features recently purchased (like Club Mode) or region unlocks will not activate until validation occurs

Once your device successfully validates again, full functionality is restored immediately.

When You Need Validation

Validation is required when:

  • Registering a new device for the first time

  • Every 45 days (to maintain access)

  • After purchasing or enabling features (e.g. Club Mode)

  • After a region unlock is applied

  • After subscription or license changes

You can validate through any of these methods (internet required):

    • Not supported for GCHawk or Falcon

  1. Install the Foresight App on your iOS or Android device.

  • Ground devices: connect via USB or direct Ethernet

  • Overhead devices (GCHawk, Falcon): connect via Ethernet only

  1. Launch FSX Play.

  2. Connect your device.

  3. FSX Play will complete validation automatically.
